CIVIL ENGINEERING TESTING LABORATORY
Bakgoni Geotechnical Engineering (Pty) Ltd is a SANAS accredited testing laboratory with a accreditation number T1018, that focus on geotechnical engineering quality control testing including road building materials as specified by the South African road authorities. We also have highly specialised personnel in the fields of road pavement designs, including asphalt and seals. We specialise in geotechnical engineering including standard testing of soils at our head office.
QUALITY CONTROL & QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEM for ROADS
We also have several site laboratories in the Free State province and other provinces where we conduct the contractor’s quality control system, as well as the, client /engineers’ quality assurance system in accordance with SANS and COLTO specifications.
These services include the quality control supervision and implementation of our own quality manual and standardised procedures in accordance with the COLTO specifications.
EXTENDED LIFE SERVICE
High quality in construction is achieved by implementing a quality control system during the construction processes and on completion of the project. The quality control system ensures a quality product with long service life and thus maintain all the stakeholders’ reputations for delivering on time and without defect.

The quality control (contractor) in construction means making sure that things are done according to the plans and to standard specifications, Quality assurance (project engineer/client) is a process that checks the quality control plan and quality control process to confirm those quality standards are implemented on the project.
